The paper attempts in elucidating the knowledge understanding in various subdisciplines of the philosophical system by Plato, in particular, in his epistemology, ontology, political philosophy and ethics. The author concludes that the category of knowledge as knowledge of the essence takes a central place in the main subdisciplines of Plato's philosophy. ; Стаття присвячена виявленню розуміння знання в різних розділах філософської системи Платона, зокрема в його гносеології, онтології, соціальній філософії, етиці. Автор робить висновок, що категорія знання як знання сутності предмета є центральною для всіх основних розділів ідеалізму Платона.

The paper analyses the process of intellectual (mental) labor from a standpoint of the Marxists methodology and its consequences to the social production. The author states that expansion of intellectual labor forces a reworking of the Marxists political economy, since this component of the social production was not subject to a systematic analysis within «classical» Marxism. ; У статтi з точки зору методологiї марксизму аналiзується процес iнтелектуальної (розумової) працi та його наслiдки для суспiльного виробництва в цiлому. Автор вважає, що поширення i стрiмкий розвиток iнтелектуальної працi вимагає вiд марксизму переосмислення окремих категорiй методу полiтичної економiї, оскiльки ця складова суспiльного виробництва не була предметом системного аналiзу в рамках «класичного» марксизму.
